Full-time PCB & Hardware Design Engineer – Compact Consumer Electronics
About the Role
We are seeking a Hardware/PCB Design Engineer to architect and build compact, high-performance electronics for next-generation wearable and audio-centric devices. You’ll design dense, low-power boards, integrate multi-sensor and multi-microphone systems, and work closely with firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware–software interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design multi-layer PCBs optimized for small form-factor, low-power consumer devices.
- Integrate processors, radios, sensors, microphones, and power-management circuitry.
- Conduct schematic design, layout, component selection, and design reviews.
- Perform hardware validation, testing, and debugging with embedded software teams.
- Develop prototypes, test jigs, and hardware testing workflows.
- Support R&D for new product form factors and platform architectures.
- Experience with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Cadence, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of mixed-signal design, power integrity, and RF or audio-relevant considerations.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment for hardware bring-up and validation.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFT, and consumer-electronics reliability.
Preferred Skills & Experiences
- Experience designing compact audio, wearable, or sensor-dense products.
- Familiarity with multi-microphone layouts or spatial hardware design.
- Interest in early-stage prototyping and interdisciplinary hardware–software collaboration.
