What you'll do 🛠️

• Build an AI-powered product: Design and implement core backend systems that power an intelligent, ML-driven application — blending engineering rigor with modern AI capabilities.
• Explore prompt engineering and light model tuning: Experiment with prompting techniques and occasionally help refine or customize models to improve product behavior — no deep ML research required.
• Build and scale ML infrastructure: Design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power machine learning applications. You'll ensure high performance, scalability, and smooth deployment using platforms like SageMaker or Vertex AI.
• Operationalize ML in production: Collaborate with data scientists to integrate models into production systems, while setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability, observability, and long-term stability.
• Collaborate and lead: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and effective machine learning solutions.

Who you are 😎

• Experienced backend developer: With 5+ years of experience in backend development, you have a strong grasp of server-side languages and frameworks, especially Python.
• Familiar with ML concepts: You possess a foundational understanding of machine learning principles and systems and have experience working alongside data scientists to deploy models. Basic hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering is a plus.
• Startup enthusiast: You thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of startups. You bring strong engineering practices, attention to detail, and a get-it-done attitude.
• Collaborative team player: You’re approachable, detail-oriented, and bring leadership experience to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Lifelong learner: You’re continuously exploring advancements in ML, whether diving into CUDA, exploring new optimization methods, or learning the latest fine-tuning techniques.
