We’re building a new category called Experiential Learning: a new AI-powered category that helps people learn through conversational roleplays. What we are hoping you will bring
You believe in the mission and care deeply about helping people achieve more by communicating better. You will use data to drive product decisions and deliver insights that make our users better communicators. As our first Data Scientist, you will set up the infrastructure and best practices needed to strengthen a metrics-driven culture. You’ll help shape product strategy, measure impact, and bring analytics directly into the hands of our customers.
This role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office - you’ll need to be based in the Greater Seattle Area.
What you’ll do
- Partner with product, design, and engineering to define success metrics and uncover insights that guide priorities
- Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests and robust LLM evaluations) to measure user behavior and product impact
- Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and models to support internal and customer-facing analytics
- Partner with customer BI teams to help them tell the story of impact with Yoodli
- Translate data into clear, actionable stories for decision-makers and end users
- Advocate for data-driven decision making across teams
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in data science, product analytics, or similar roles
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
- Strong skills in experimentation, statistical analysis, and data visualization (Looker, Mode, or similar)
- Experience working closely with product and growth teams
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for using data to improve user experience
- Nice to have: background in speech analytics, LLMs, or NLP
- Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Familiarity with embedding analytics into products
